I want to start a long term project and want a black rallye. Any age, mileage and condition considered. Although the more original the better. Can arrange tow if sorn and no mot but i will wanna see it at least running on Tick over. Budget is negotiable dependent on condition.

I'm really eager to get going so the sooner the better! Drop me a pm!!

Yeah cheers mate. Almost bought it when it was still running but couldn't reach an agreement on price then it's dropped its Cambelt. I've negotiated a price with him but considering my options ;-)

Cheers for the heads up tho

Saw this today... rear beams looks very suspect got a dturbo front bumper thats gash and a matt bonnet with bonnet pins for no apparent reason. Drove 100 miles to see it for 500 and wouldnt give 350 for it.

No probs Tom, but have to agree, it don't look right at all, but I suppose if you got it for silly money its worth a punt.

Pugheaven has an ad on ebay for a black rallye if you're still after one. Doesn't exactly sound the best example but seems an honest enough ad.

He got one from Chris today, it wouldn't take much to make the body work mint as most of the panels could be changed quite cheaply, I was probably being to picky but I'm used to mint cars

I traveled to Scotland to buy my red rallye..... Never again lol if it doesn't sell for £550 I will just strip it as iv priced parts fir that alone and I could still chuck on a standard manifold, air filter and cheap wheels and sell it for £200 I just don't have the time to mess around like I used too Sad

My mate Adam used to own it (he was on here and did a project thread) from what he said it was just coming up to 120 when he changed the clocks for ones that had 160k so I'm guessing the shell has done around 137k but not sure how many miles the engine has done since rebuild, he had the engine done when he owned it 3 years ago so 2011 when it was reading 118k so I would assume the belt and pump have only done 10-15k but can't be certain as he hasn't included the pugperformance invoice in the folder I have as he miss placed it! I remember it having the engine done though that's for sure and the belt looks to be in good condition, it's just the s**te sealant job between sump and block that lets it down, still pulls well that's for sure
