The latest (Jul/Aug 14) issue of Performance French Cars has a 306 GTI-6/Rallye tuning guide.

Nothing in there the gods of 306 ownership on here won't already know, though one thing I was wondering about, and I quote: "While a Rallye gearbox has a slightly lower final drive which certainly improves acceleration...".

It's the first time I've heard a claim that a 306 Rallye is different in some mechanical respect from a GTI-6. Maybe a mistake based on the slightly better quoted 0-60mph time (which is due to slightly lower weight) surely?

Does anyone have a redundant copy of the last issue (may/June I'd assume) they are due to recycle?

I'd be interested in having a read of it as there are articles on a 205 GTi6 and a Clio I'd be interested in flicking through.

I don't believe it's for sale anywhere now as the new issue is out.
