Quick query as my version and my mates version vary slightly as to performance of a cars capabilities. Is the above vehicle that's chasing me (he was giving it but I overtook it as somebody doesn't know the highway code properly or couldn't read the road ahead prior to incident being discussed) as quick as f**k because a 6 can't get away from it doing 95 up a hill in 6th when the vtec is kicking in and he's raping the arse out of his car or is a 6 faster as it's doing 95 in 6th when I could've dropped a cog or two and gone quicker and a civic with a stupid number plate can't really gain on me when I could've continued to push it but my privately owned airstrip was running out?

I like EK CTRs. EPs are a bit- I work in IT and want a Jap/hot hatch but not really bothered about cars because I like computers. Which one was it?

A very well known EP3 judging by a quick Google of the number plate regarding a devilish Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control amalgamation. I'm sure a Honda forum will refer to a slow GTi 6 hindering his progress.

Driven by a cretin, straight line they will pull away with ease.

Add a proper welsh A-B road they cannot compete with the standard Peugeot Chassis.

I didn't say I'd done a type r I was querying why he hadn't driven over my roof considering people say they are so quick. he had a chance to go past as we pulled in due to split overtaking lane as right turn coming in opposite direction that reopens after it and he was back in it before I'd decided to carry on driving like I'd purchased it. Although my slow speed probably slowed him down and stopped his charge.

I'd probably go with Merion's analysis given the cherished plate stereotype. Wink Is a nice A road though BTW. A being airstrip...

As wp said straight line you will be done on the twistys 306 hands down (what I do I know only owned a 6 and a rallye and a ep3 )

Providing I'm not too busy crashing I can usually keep up with them on the road or on track providing the section isn't too long and straight.

IIRC they have similar torque to a 6, and are not producing their full power unless in VTEC, which is easy to drop out of on B roads.

My mate had one and said the 6 gives a lot more confidence to the driver around bends.

Decent cars though EP3's Thumbs up
