Just a quick stupid question really, i had a search but didn't find anything conclusive: Is it possible to remove the inner track rod end from the track rod?

It looks like it may be screwed into the track rod so i tried getting it out with mole grips and a vice, and even tried the blowtorch on it but didnt have any success as the mole grips kept slipping.

Cheers.

I wasnt sure if it was sort of crimped in or threaded, guess it's not threaded as it should have budged with the amount of force i put into it. Laugh

Luckily thats one of many spares i've got so i havent messed up a good one, looks like i've got to remove the two good ones on the car tomorrow so i can shorten them and knock up some adapters at work to suit rose joints, i was hoping i could just unscrew the inner joint and make a longer link bar. Doh

Thanks for the input lads. Thumbs up
