As you may be aware, i am in the process of breaking the big Astor as there is not enough detailed interest in complete sale. The complete breaking will only take place after the engine and supercharge kit find a home.

Have owned the car since 14000miles, currently on 77k.
Always run on Silkolene pro oil with genuine Purflux filter.
4 nearly new coilpacks
4 iridium spark plugs
Compression tested peak all cylinders
Brand new timing belt fitted
Complete engine wire-harness with custom mapped ecu
(ALL SUPERCHARGED COMPONENTS ARE LESS THAN 8K old)
3" inlet large manifold (flows a bit better as its based on riches first manifold)
440cc injectors (lucas no bosch as the spray is much better for low boost)
Rotrex bracket
Two uprated pulleys
Solid lightweight crank pulley
Rotrex C30-94 (with new fluid and TB housing laser welded to inlet)
K&N Filter
New continental SC belt
Rotrex cooler and reservoir
2.5" solid boost pipework including large FMIC including all bracket
Nissens rad with slim fans on front

Ecu custom mapped by wayne schofield dropping 284-294 bhp at flywheel with 7400 redline and no stall tune.

Basically everything for a straight swap.
Has run effortlessly since i've owned it 11 years.

You are welcome to see it running. Has been dry stored when not used but always driven intermittently to keep it all running.

My pride and joy being broken cos of baby on the way.

As most kits alone go for £2000 im asking for £2600

All you need for a direct swap. No messing about

Would cost twice that to build!

what would be the affect of running a smaller intercooler? Would the map be thrown out of sync or would is simply be slightly down on power?

Any chance of anything going pop if the inlet temps were higher due to a small intercooler?

The whole conversion will cost prolly near £4000 in parts plus labour.

Its probably the best aftermarket charger kit you can get, let alone for a 306gti6... and we have fitted loads of AA and TTS kits to cars.

The rotrex hardly heats the inlet temps by much.... you could probably run this setup with a little more ignition retarding without an intercooler.Yes

The extra power is from the bigger inlet manifold, different injectors, smooth pipework, mandrel bent stainless system and LIVE tuned on the dyno.

Running a FMIC half the size will have no effect at 10psi apart from a slightly crisper throttle response.

Sorry to clutter this thread up but what's a night and day difference? I'm wondering about getting mine mapped as I'm running the Lynx low boost with generic map...

Thanks for the clarification!

Was it mapped with a decat in place?

So tempted by this, but just don't have the full amount as I am looking to buy a second house and need the money for that!

Air Fuel Ratio Yes 14.7:1 is the approximate ratio for pure octane.

Stoich ratio for ideal burn with little waste.. All cars are targeted that feom factory at idle and part throttle equating to good response and mpg.

Very rarely do the SC boys run clean Afrs.

Mine runs 14.7:1 as well because it has been custom mapped. It's a must really. Yes

I was very tempted to go high boost with an emerald ecu i had lying around, but i doubt i'll ever use the 400bhp in this city. 290 is more than enough in 1000kg's LOL
