Have you changed the fuel filter ?

Get a decent Icv then it should be better but remember its a rebuilt engine so don't go thrashing the arse out of it ? Gently bently wins the race

ECP idle control valve will be a genuine one. Magnetti marelli

carparts4less.co.uk will do you a cheap new one if you need it

Yer I changed the fuel filter today. I won't be thrashing it just yet I spent too much on it to see it in a puff of smoke. I will just take it easy an use it over Christmas period to bed it in.
Before I spent all this money was thinking about getting a newer car but stuck with the rallye so if I get some better brakes should be able to have some fun in it next year .

I'm sure the icv I have from Ecp had nothing written on it

before you kill your engine, change the oil. your current oil will have the same viscosity as water judging by the sounds of how much you've tried to start it (petrol in your oil...)

Yeah I read a few posts back about that, somebody sent me a message that you'd had an issue with it, something about oil. Glad to see you've got good patience with it. It had done a bit of mileage before I bought it from Ash (RolandRat), but I also trust the guy who rebuilt it (WelshPug Smile)
