Any ideas? Not certain what was causing it.

Just remembered something odd about the brakes on the race car when we were out at Brands last week. Once we'd done a few runs in the car, each time you went out the brake pedal was quite soft but after a lap or two would get much firmer and back to how it was a the beginning of the day.Any ideas? Not certain what was causing it. ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Try a fluid change first and ensure you bleed the system properly.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

It's a new system as I replaced all the lines when I removed the ABS. There are no leaks and we've bled it about 5 or 6 times to make sure all the air was out.________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

If you have a bias valve have you got this opened up enough to let fluid through also could be a bent bracket on your callipers so the pads have to pull up before they work correctly as i had this on the back of a Mk2 escort when someone had fitted a rear disc conversion and did not get the brackets lined up straight before they welded them to the axle !!!!!________________________________________ 206 Rallycross GTI6 SC SHB 425 BHP clutch eater !!! |

We've got a bias valve, around the mid-position so some fluid should be going in. Bent bracket doesn't sound too good! Will check them. ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |
