Just had this dropped off for some work, exterior wise is very clean but the interior is unreal.

Has to be the lowest mileage one out there?

Yes the guy who owns it offered it for sale but decided to keep it, he has a red Cti with mileage much the same as this, also,has a h plate gti that we refurbished for him last year, he sold it at a Chris Evans auction and it fetched £8k, plonker then went and bought it back from the winning bidder.

Have to say it is lovely though and I thought he was mad to sell it.

Here's a few pictures of the engine bay and floor we did.

MM almost as good as mine lol, mine has 60k on the clock with a 39k engine. Mine has zero rust but does need a few dents needed to be pulled out lol.

Nice to see another Graphite grey non sunny, one of the last ones as well.

whats the suspension etc like as im sure it wont be great if its been standing for a long while etc ?

I would have thought that chances are he is the original owner so probly takes it out every few weeks for a spin. I wouldnt think that it would have sat around for months/years gathering dust. Still, it is 20 years old so i would expect it to be a little soft.

It doesn't have the mudflaps which is a shame, wonder where they went ?

Does it still have the OE interior mats ?

Not done the under side on mine just the engine bay, needs the underbody treatment now.
