It might be, so long ago since I did mine...Yes

I can't use mine now anyway as I have a different ECU but I can set what temp I want the fans to come on at on the laptop so that's good.

Yeah the actual wiring part on the switch is very easy, I just looped a wire around and insulating tape all over the sucker so its going no where.

Works a treat in the summer heat we just had

This is what I did, except I silicone sealed mine in there rather than using tape. Yes

thats one worry off my mind now. compressors unplugged untill i can afford to remove it cheers guys.

however!!!!! the little green led is still annoying. stan you said its from the exterrior temp sensor in my passenger wing mirror.

i have after market wingmirrors and the sensor isnt there :S
shouldnt there also be an "interior" air temp sesnor. where is this? i figure i need to fool one of them to make it stop.

The climate control temp sensor is located somewhere around the rear view mirror location, although exactly where I'm not sure.

The climate control temp sensor is located next to the interior light housing stan.

Or remove the green led in the ac button so you would never know.
