Out of interest, how was it stolen mate?

Window smashed or simply lifted onto a truck. I ask as I'm guessing it would be hard to get it started without keys? Dunno

As Stan says, that's awful. It must be bad enough having a car stolen but to know somebody entered your house too makes it so much worse.

It is not a nice feeling I'd wish on anyone. Security wise things will be changing that's for sure! !!

There's a lot of it going on though Ian unfortunately. I was watching a Traffic Cops a while back and they were discussing this new form of car theft. They called people that do this 'creeper crooks' as they creep round your house first looking for the keys...Thumbs down

Yeah I remember it started out with people poking coat hangers through letter boxes to reach keys as most people used to leave them on a table by the front door.

It happened to my missus a few years back before we were together. She had an R32 and it was parked outside her house whilst she was on holiday. People attempted to break in at 4am to get the keys, luckily a neighbour was up going to the loo across the street, saw them and called the police. They got the helicopter out and found the three culprits after they ran off and hid in neighbouring gardens...Yes

They call that "fishing" when they try to hook keys through a window or letterbox etc. Off with their f**king hands I say.

had someone trying to get into my mum and dads house when i was at home, for my m3 years ago presumably, i was in the front room dead late fixing a motorbike on their best laminate flooring when i heard the letterbox going with someones hand through it with a coat hanger or bit of welding wire it looked like, i just opened the door and said "everything ok?" and he walked off, didn't even realise he was after anything until i thought about it afterwards Erm? could have turned out a lot worse i guess

also a guy i know came back from a 2 week holiday and left his cars etc on his drive, no problems, came back all ok. that same night he went to bed, alarmed up and in the morning woke up to find someone had been in his house without setting alarm off, took his porsche off the driver and the golf clubs from next to him in his bedroom and all his cards and money, but they moved his honda CRV off the drive to get the porsche out, and put the honda back! porsche was smashed into a shop front about 5 miles away and they fled

The arm and wire through the letterbox late at night didn't raise concern? Should have placed your warm balls on his palm.

"everything OK?". If he'd said no would you have invited him in for a hug?
