yes but balljoint is diff size and unsure on camber etc

As rikky has said if you fit phase 3 hub you will also need to swap the ball joint as they are 18mm, other than that It's a straight swap.

Only other thing you can do is have the hole that I assume has ovalled drilled out and a sleeve fitted to take it back to the correct size

or you could do away with the hub, and fit a new method of wheel rotation on there, involving a standard computer PSU and a wagon wheel with a 13mm hole drilled in it. as you won't be able to mount the calipers anymore, you can rig up a hairdryer to blow the wagon wheel into a melted mess, therefore reducing the wheel entirely and the speed of the car will reduce

thanks ryan for the responce. ill crack on with my works 2morrow

kinda thanks for yours aswell rikkey. wagon wheels are awesome but i believe there better used as food and not car parts.

after a week waiting for a sodding 35 mm socket. my car will once agin be off to the mot station tommorrow.

only took a whole day, 2 heavy rain showers, 4 rounded nuts and bolts to drill/cut out, one brake sensor wire to fix after it broke during, s**t loads of rust n gearbox oil (cv came out) on my drive....

but i now have one fully working gti and one xsi half in bits. yay
