Been so long since owning a 306. Shouldn't the first position for the wipers be auto/intermittent?

That is what it was on my '6... On the HDi they just keep going whether it is raining or not and same goes if I spray the washers. Fuse issue or Rain sensor maybe?

More than likely a rain sensor issue.

Best take it to Pug while I'm at the Misses' at some point then as she only lives about 5 mins walk from the pug dealership that dealt with the '6, they can look at the central locking too. Smile

Edit: If I use the washers the wipers do about 5 or 6 full sweeps then stop at 45 degrees LOL

I had this issue and after loads of tracing (changing everything else) it was the motor at fault. Not sure why it would only do it with rain and intermittent, but it did and those motors aren't cheap!

Mine did this when the plug on the motor wasn't pushed together enough, when I took out the motor to replacem (the gearbox part with the park sensor system can be easily cleaned, you probably don't need a new one) a bit of contact cleaner sorted it out.
