A While back someone was asking if this was possible, how it looked, what it done to fuel consumption etc.......

I Had the car fully loaded, roof box fully loaded and drove to the south of Spain, I wasn't hanging around and managed a steady 37 to 38 MPG.....

Tempted to put the thing back on now!!!!

Anyway, some snaps...

And A few the other night, now over 130,000 miles on the clock........

Really can't complain, it still ticks all the boxes for me this car!!!!

Never worked out the mpg on my vehicles, think I would get depressed.

The other car that had a roof box on was a china 306 with the euro stance, think it was colour coded too.

Yea that's Pea's car! Love that 306, not everyones cup of tea but I think it's great! Had a photo of it as my cover photo on fb for a while Cool Not sure I could justify the expense on the Schmidt TH lines though worth more than 90% of the GTi6s around these days and 5 months waiting to be built?! Crazy

Yep, they truly are awful.
And why 'bra'? Is the bonnet left alarmingly unsupported and at risk of long-term sagging if you drive without one? I guess 'bonnet cover' or 'bonnet protector' isn't cool enough.

The Bonnet 'bra'/protector is/was the only thing letting it down in my eyes, lets face it more hassle then they are really worth.

Over here they are purely a stylish (or more often, unstylish) accessory. In the US and canada they are much more common place. Yes.

The same usually goes for window wind deflectors, however I think they can look quite cool.

Not a fan of wind deflectors on 3dr 306 They look good on Hondas and other Japanese marks but Peugeots look generally odd with them really. Unsure
