In need of a near side hub as this happened last Friday and it turns out the 309 has 306 hubs fitted.

Will need it posted to Weymouth.

Many thanks, Ali

Measure the hole diameter. If its pulled apart due to the crack.try the ball joint.

the ball joint has had it, replacing the wish bone. You think this might be why it failed?

Well if your replacing the whole thing then it doesn't matter as you can get the ball joint to suit the hub, only thing is you may have two different sizes on the car

other than crash damaged cars ive seen this twice, some people use a hammer and chisel to open up the gap to help remove ball joint, hence weakening the casting, all it would take is a decent pot hole to do the above

Jamie, you cannot change the ball joints on 309's or 205's.

Dendle, I was going around a bumpy corner. Seems the pinch bolt could have been too tight meaning it was under stress. Or as Fordy mention the ball joint was knackered so this may have contributed.

Ah yes, it's all flooding back to me now. If they are the same as the 205 then they are 16mm hubs
