I really hate those fuels that don't work until ten minutes of driving.

What a load of s**t. So basically, normal unleaded with some Redex mixed in with it. NICE TRY, SHELL.

I can't wait. This is going to make the HDi so powerful I may have to fit some sort of restrictor.

I remember on a trip to Poland last year they had 100ron "super" V-power, and it was still cheaper than our unleaded too.

Nor can i, i hope this product actually contains some nitro in it or im out.

Compared to some countries we get fed some low grade fuel with concerns to the ron that is.

I thought Japan had 100 ron, either way it does seem to be a bit of a marketing strategy, saying its nitro+ i expect some nitro inside it but i doubt it has.

It would be nice if they gave some actual technical information as to what is different about this stuff compared to regular V-Power, but it's just a marketing ploy, so of course they're not going to do that!

Sounds like time for a rolling road test and send the results back to Shell and get an explanation as to why its made no difference if thats the case that is.

Im guessing the reason why the ron rating isn't there is because it will be the same as the standard V power, this is an uprated V power fuel.

I would say it's just a re-branding of the normal V-Power, anything sounds better if you put 'Nitro' on the end of it.......

Would be good to see some independant testers results on this in comparison to old V power fuel. If it comes out much better then i would use it but if not then whats the point. This new fuel could just be another way to make more money and the old V power will no longer be available. When i first saw this i thought oh there will be two types of V power, one poor mans version the other the rich mans version, it isnt very clear on that and if its just the new one then that great, we have to pay much more for not a lot, another tax if you will.

Well at least the price stays the same, people are right about it being a marketing ploy so they get more buyers because its now improved. If it is as improved as they say then its seems a good thing and worth paying the same all in all.
