Which grease is best for the beam bearings? Also how much would you use-As much as possible crammed in there or just pack the roller bearings?

Moly grease is good enough for the high impact the beam shaft will get. You can pack it in if you like but if bits get in then the grease will hold onto it.

Iv used dry-moly grease on the shaft, it repels water and rust so it gives it a little bit more protection and you can use both if you like no problem. The drymoly is a dry anti dust grease used for oilite bearings but also good for the shafts. Iv applied some dry moly over the seal so water will fall off it and is ok to use on rubber too.

Best to pack the roller bearings in a little not overly with it then apply a layer on the shafts if you arent using the dry moly that is. When the rollers roll round you want a little bit under the rollers to come back round.

Just a smear of grease over all the rollers, if you pack them chock full it's almost as bad as having no grease at all, either a normal Moly, or if you have a few quid spare, grab a tub of Millers Hi-Mol 20.
