Obviously you won't be using them again, so you can use some pliers, these should do the trick. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Yeah fair enough. We're just a little worried about crushing the valve guides. Have tried doing this but wouldnt like to grip much harder. |

you won't crush the valve guide that easy, Be careful not to scratch the bores the lifters fit into |

Bit of a thread revival....Is it necessary to use a tool for placing new stem seals or can they just be pushed on by hand? It doesn't look like they're held in place by anything, is that the case? |

Use 10mm long socket and a small mallet to drift the seal into place! ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! My Budget track engine build thread!
