My bonnet is covered in patches of lacquer peel, presumably due to stone chips, the roof doesn't look too good either. I know Diablo is particularly prone to this. Does anyone have any rough costs for a good respray for the bonnet and roof and any blending necessary? I want a proper job done, not something that'll look awful after a year or two.

probably cost you between £250 and £300
blending into the wings rear quarter doors and windscreen pillars will probably be required! Smile

The bonnet has gone on my diablo and it has started to go on both the front wing and rear quarter panel around the window. Thankfully, I have a friend who owns a spray booth and owes me money from work I've done for him so having it done for free

I know that this is no help to you, but it seems the norm on here for people to give totally useless and annoying information when asking a question Smile

So as a ballpark figure for a decent job to respray a straight panel in a standard colour, are we talking around £300 for the first panel and a shade less for subsequent panels?

I'm about to get quotes to do my new OE bumper and the crazed bonnet (looks like a dealer rattle can blow-over that went bad) on my Rallye

£250-300 if its just roof and bonnet, more if you want it blending.

I thought it was going to be a bit much. She looks fine from 5 metres away so will leave it at that and save the money for broken mechanical things.

A full respray could be anything from £600 - £2000

This!

Like 99% of things in life you get what you pay for and bodyshop work is testiment to that.A good job involves alot of prep so thats where the costs add up.

I'd rather pay a few hundred more to have it done right than have to fork out again in 12-18 months time Wink

Nothing like paying for shoddy work to be done again a few months down the line Smile
