    Incorrect.

Although with promotions such as these you'll probably only save 60 pence or something nominal - but worth asking as when they did the buy one get one free on Industrial chests, I got a corker of a deal.

It should. However it won't on tools on offer (flexy ratchet spanners and socket sets seem to constantly be on offer).

The black industrial ones. When not on offer (rarely) and bought together the top and bottom are £609.98. The current offer is buy the bottom for £349.99 and get the top free.

I went in when this was on previously and the bottom came to £229.99 @ trade and the top box was free.

I only got a trade card for tools discount! I use there tools for work, the professional range. The trade card gives u decent discount off full price but when on offer rarely saves u much money. However show ur card as a quid off is a quid off! Wink

Can't help but think that this set isn't such a great deal.

Why have 3 sizes of ratchets? Who uses 1/4 drive? A 1/2 and 3/8 would have sufficed. A 3/8 is more than girly enough for pathetic bolt tickling jobs.

Why have several overlapping socket sizes for 1/4 and 3/8?

Why have any imperial sizes at all?
If you own a classic, go and buy a decent imperial set separately.

The imperial sockets could be taken out, with the cost-saving paying for various other good tools to bolster the set.
For example, how about another ratchet drive? It doesn't have enough already. A 1/8 size would be lovely for those crank and hub nut applications.

    It's all a bit inefficient.
    Ze Germans would not approve.

The 150 sets are back down to £80 from their permanent £100 'offer'. Another chance to get hold of a set containing ~20 imperial sockets you'll never use and many overlapping metric sockets too. LOL
