Right, I'm after a set of rear shock to go on the 6.
The car is being fitted with 23.5mm Tb's and a 30mm ARB and I'm looking for something to complement that setup.
The cars will be used for fast road, occasional track days, and I'm looking for something fairly stiff too.

Adjustable shocks would be preferable, but not necessary, I'm going to have a budget of around £150 I'm guessing.

I've had a set of AVO rear dampers with 25mm bars before and ran them on full stiff and it wasnt too bad, although a little bouncy as I'm presuming they were under damped?

I'm thinking my main options are;
AVO
GAZ
Koni
Bilstein, grp N, tarmac spec etc?

Anyone got any experience with the above or recommend something else?

bilstein group A sound like they'd be the right spec, they're £110 each and IIRC would be valved for 23mm bars.

Where to find these Bilsteins group A?
In Bilsteins catalog http://www.bilstein.de/en-uk/products/search-service/online-catalogue/ there are only B4,B6 sport, B8 sprint (only fronts)

I've got rose jointed Gaz's. with thick bars & very little suspension travel due to ride height it was important to have rear shocks without rubber bushes to make sure that all suspension travel is properly damped.

Cool

Naah, you want 306 ones, 205 are only meant for 21mm bars and 900 kg, not 23mm bars and 1150+

I've put 25.5 torsion bars on my 306 and currently using bilstein b6 but they are too soft for that thick bars.

What not very expensive options I have for shocks?
