Where's the best place to jack the car up and put axle stands for rear beam adjustment?

I was going to put the stands on the sill jacking points either side, but I can only just get my trolley jack under there even after reversing up a plank of wood on a couple of bricks, and the larger jack is too big to get to the rear beam to jck up from there

Cheers

I personally jack on one of the trailing arms where the damper goes to, then use an axle stand under the sill jacking point once it's high enough.

Jack it up on the centre of the beam itself, its more than strong enough.

When ever i jack the car up from the rear i always think its going to move forward a bi and fall off. Ive always had a bit of a thing since being under a car when it fell but luckily there were tyres there that saved me lol

Yeah I reversed the car up on to a plank of wood, to raise it up high enough to get my bigger jack under the trailing arms to jack it up enough to get my stands under the sill. Can't wait to raise it again haha

For adjustment, jack under beam tube itself.

If removing beam, place axle stands under sills.

I always chock front wheels, put in gear and apply steering lock

Jack on the sill points and then place the stands under the beam.

Now that the car is high enough off the ground, put the jack under the beam, support the weight and then move the stands to the sill points. Thumbs up

I asked this the other day, then as soon as I got the answer it seemed obvious. I made a notch in blocks of wood so the jacking points aren't pushing onto a point of the axle stand
