I am looking to order some braided brake hoses but I am unsure what ones to order, I've been looking at HEL as I had motorbike ones from them and they were awesome, but not sure if anyone knows anyone better doing them. The issue is that they offer 2 choices, a Lucas/Teves or a Bosch system. How would I know which type of system it is?

think the calipers are Lucas, they are branded on them if you look with the wheel off

i get all my braided brake lines made up off Exact (MrSwampyS16 on here supplies them), never had a problem with them in years of using them

Im interested too, I've noticed the same applies to standard rear lines too, Ie there are two types, my feeling is that Lucas is the one for a GTi-6 as I'm unaware that there are two types for our car. But im sure someone can confirm

The rears is Down to the bias valve

It changed over and this the lengthes of the rear lines changed

So its a phase 3 / pahe2 or before thing then?
