Eliot, i dont know what headgasket is used in this engine,it looks like a copper one... but im not sure.

Uhmm about the modifying of the pistons, could be a super idea , and i also could be a not that great idea, the pistons wont be stronger then stock.
altough the 8.1 compression is a bit more boostfriendly then the 8.5, the lower the compression dont mean the better.

Well well just have to see what the dynogod has in mind for this old 2.0 16v Wink and if it bangs it bangs... s**t happens Wink that will mean just some more work to do and that will mean more pics and nice discussions Wink

Well, not much of an update but ive had the 330mm brakediscs drilled to 4x108, and had the studs replaced for longer ones , since i need to fit spacers on the front.
That means i can put things together this saturday and fit the coilovers and have it sit on its new wheels for a bit and do some wheelwhoringpics Wink

Catchcan came in, need to weld some AN10 nipples on them so the AN fittings fit

nice black anodised and nothing shinyshiny....LOL

Ordered some heatwrap to do the downpipe
Ordered some AN small stuff that i need for the injectorrail
Ordered a pair of sillicon reducers for the in/outlet of the intercooler
Hopefully the carbonfiber bonnet gets here before the weekend, so i can testfit that and have a look, that is if it gets here in one piece. (let us pray)
Ordered a pair of aerocatches for it as well

Custom dials are being made, should be here in two weeks, also i hope the carbon doorcards get here end of next week so i can fit those.

In 2 weeks the cage nr2 is hopefully ready and fits nicely so we can install that.

This saturday, wheelwhoring pics!!!!!!!!!! weekendspecial for all the nonbelievers 18s CAN LOOK THE TITS on a 306... ill proof it Wink

can you tell us a bit more about the clutch and gearbox your using?

I've got to update my fuel and catch tank pipework to stainless braided and the fittings to them fancy blue and red ones that you have.

What top speed are yoh expecting?
Sorry but what model is the be4 from?
Is this box much stronger than the 6 speed box?
is there any other gearsets that can be used in the 6 speed box to make them a bit longer/higher?

Ive got a BE/5 with very nice ratios, you can pick what you want from another peugeot gearbox and drop it in, very simple.

My topspeed will be with this ratios - 180MPH, and that is with the stock revlimit, since it will have no trouble reaching this, and not ill be using 7200 revlimit, maybe its possible if my balls are big enough go over 185MPH

As said before there is no way i will get my ass handed over on a highway encounter with mr Ferarri or Porsche.

My mates ZX turbo was quick but @ around 235kmpu it went straight in to the revlimiter and that was it...
