Hi guys. I've been looking at a few different tyre options for when my current ones are dead and i have narrowed the choice down to eagle f1 gsd3 or conti sport contact 2. Anyone with any experience on either of these?

PE2's are out of the question in my size.

WTF?!

I wouldn't run a 45 on a 306, plain daft, just be sensible and run 50's.

Well we agree to disagree then Mei. I wouldn't say it was plain daft though, I've never had any problems.

Back on topic, I ran GSD3's on my williams and was always impressed with them. Not the longest last tyre in the world though

Useless in snow too, but then, that isn't what they're for. Obviously.

Right in that case get the ps3's
they are newer pe2 so will be very good.
If you like a hard sidewall, maybe a tyre like r888s or federal rsr's?

that was a genuine suggestion, as that's what size the saxo runs.

I really cannot begin to fathom how you can say "50's feel terrible"

btw, the weight rating for a 195 45 profile tyre is pitiful.

Been there done that and they aren't very good at all. I'm just after a tyre with good all round grip and better wear rate than the T1R's I currently use.
