Doh

is it getting paint or Vinyl? if the latter I'd leave it a bit for the paint to age.

Vinyl, the paints fully gone off now, cabs been in paint for six weeks and the side boards for two and its been baked with an infra red lamp. It's not like we'll ever want to take the sign writing off anyway.

'Mechanic' who did the belts, removed them, didn't change them then put them back but not in the same way they came off, so the diesel pump wasn't timed up correctly, no starty, no worky.

What a winner. Still could've been worse, no lasting damage at least.

Blew the big ends out and destroyed the crank and block... Turned out the pump was only getting 1 bar pressure not a trillion at start up.

Trucks been finished and running for nearly a month now but not entirely without problems, the immobiliser code that Ford reset failed and needed re-installing by somebody that doesn't suffer from cerebral palsy. They also found that the immobiliser sensing ring in the ignition had been and I quote "smashed to f**k", it wasn't like that when we gave it to fords and sorting it out cost another £250, bless Fords little cotton socks.
Anyway, since I managed to lock myself out of my photobucket account no pictures of the finished truck have been forthcoming, allow me to address that now...

Looks the nuts that does mate, bet you're relieved. And it's all done in time for the evenings to get lighter and the days to get warmer, bet you're glad you did all the work when it was dark and freezing.
