Just wanted to give a big shout out to phill as i've just had a rear roll cage installed by him in my 6 and to say that i'm thrilled with the result is an understatement Smile

true quality workmanship to a impressive standard.

i highly recommend his work to everyone on here.

What's wrong with that, you can still get the headlining in and everything Whistle

There's that great big piece of yellow painted scrap cut out of a ship anchor someone's already stuck in the back, said his name was Dave and he'd do it for the best price apparently LOLThumbs up
Personally, I prefer the bars in the cage, they look neater, but he'd already got one of Daveyboys harness bars in there beforehand and it does the job just fine, so seemed silly cutting it out...

Pm me a cost for a full cage installed... I have been asked to get a car done for mull 2013 next oct....Just do a gp N+ Rallye as its not homologated anymore maybe on bodies.

Motorsport prep company near me (Saxon Motorsport) can do a weld in 6 point for £1k out of CDS. Depends on how much you're charging, it could make sense to bring it up to you for the extra seam welding etc.

I've slept since then, was that a billy basic 6 point, single door bars, etc?

This is exactly what i want doing to mine and i was going to ask directly, but.. how much am i looking at for a cage like this? Really interested around april time next year when i return from Canada!

Exactly the same as that, ~ £425 fully fitted, depending on the steel price at the time, but at the minute it's sneaking down a bit so might be a touch cheaper if anything, if you just want a single diagonal instead of a cross it's ~ £375
