So after a few trips to ecp to get the parts that I asked for and not a mix match of makes I finally managed to do some work Smile

First was to fit the ball joints and track rod ends

Next was to build up the hubs with new bearings

Then fitted to the car with the negative camber inserts Smile

Fitted them to the coilover

And slaved on the brakes

The calipers need to come back off for a good clean but just want to have some good visual progress before I leave

Im still waiting for my pinch bolts from Peugeot so cant get it on the ground yet Sad

I'm going to have these wheels to begin with, once I have done the wide track rear beam conversion I'm likely to get some Rota wheels but that's probably going to be next winter's project

Id go for a gunmetal grey sort of colour, should work well with the blue Yes

Like the sound of the Rota's, not a massive fan of the current wheels but wont complain as they are required to get it moving LOL Smile

Black should go with the carbon and cage, the splitter is going gloss black too.
Looking at rota force wheels in anthracite but that will be a long way off!

Just going to use these wheels while I get the car running right and to tie me over until I do the rear wide track

After closer inspection I have noticed that due to the negative camber the wheel now rubs the spring when wound down so either 5-10mm spacers or shorter springs is on the cards but I was expecting it so never mind

I will update this when I get some pics from Rich W as he is rebuilding my engine and fitting all the bits iv had powder coated etc (cant wait to see it my self) especially the exhaust manifold Smile

Iv also got my mate on the case to paint the front bumper, splitter, skirts and wing mirror bases as I didn't like them being the standard black plastic, he is also going to lacquer the carbon bonnet, boot lid and spoiler so hopefully I can crack on when I return

Im already looking at wheels for the Dimma as that will be the little treat I buy for my self for spending another 3 months out here!
