hi all, i have recently installed some cobra subframes and buckets, the problem is that now they're in place, the seats themselves don't sit level but rather lean over to one side, i'm abit frustrated with them as the subfames are advertised as "tailored" so you would expect them to retain at least a similar driving postion to the normal seats but not to be completely on the p**s!! Angry

what if anything can i do to rectify the problem? all that comes to mind is using some spacers of some kind, been on a few image searches and most other peoples seats appear to be fine in terms of how they are sat, ie the angle.

has anyone else experienced this with their seats?

if anyone can help that would be much appreciated

(i have the sliding base mounted subframes off demon theives which say they are tailored for the 306)

Can you use longer bolts and pack the subframe up on the low side with some washers?

yo jim, sods law ain't it, the seats lean outwards towards the doors and the subframes are bolted sideways on the lower side so you can't raise the height AAAAHHHHHGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Can you elongate the holes with a file? Or isn't there enough material in the mounting frame flange to do that safely?

I had the same cobra mounts from tweaks I removed the the sliders an screwed the buckets directly the mounts.

Was ten times better, nice and low and times better driving postion.

    Worth a shot Smile

I have to say, after having a good look at them today, the quality is pretty damned shocking!

It's nearly as bad as Tom's painting Whistle LOL
