What problems do you encounter when the cam sensor is not functioning properly or faulty.

It will take ages to start as the engine uses the cam sensor as a reference for engine position during the starting phase only. Once it's running, it is not used. Wink

thought it was used for the sequential ignition or something!!

It's a strange one really, because the lower spec head (which uses the one long coil pack) has the casting for the cam sensor but doesn't have the hole cut out for it...
