I understand why you question the redline on the gauge but trust me I have it from a very reliable source over 120 is not good for your engine!

I just use total quarz 7000. It works okay for me and is what pug recomend for my car. Smile

10/50 fully synth for me, works better when the enigine/oil is hotter.
