as you can see, the pugsport backbox pictured is not a rolled box, and has scorpion etched into it.

Im thinking prospeed in cardiff now tbh as they I can get what I want. Which is a 2.5 system with decent box sizes . Not sure on tailpipe size though. But round and rolled in deffo
I don't want it too much louder than the standard one. Although my back box is cylindrical ? Not stainless either but it's not standard

Thread resurrection.....

Has anyone bought one of the Special Tuning exhausts? I need a new exhaust, but need to retain standard manifold and cat (rules and regs). Does the intermediate tube with dummy cat just replace the centre section & silencer, or the cat as well?

And where the hell have Blue Flame disappeared to? Just selling bike parts, and no-one answering the phone!

I've got an exhaust that was sold to me as a mongoose but which looks identical to the 'newer' style in those pictures above.

I bought a pugsport exhaust around 2 month ago.... It replaces centre section and silencer, but mates with any decat that fits a standard system. Mine arrived with gusseted boxes too which I didn't think they did anymore!! Big grin

Oh and just to point out the one I got is nothing like the 'new type' that welshy mentions, admittedly it's all magnex but IMO seems to be very high quality! And matches the 'older' style systems! Thumbs up

I've got the older style gussetted magnex. Light, not too loud - it's all good. Nice bangs and flashes from the decat too

Which sections did you buy? Cos I need to keep the cat, will the intermediate pipe (with dummy cat) mate up to the standard cat?

Yep intermediate pipe with dummy cat, although how well it fits I don't know yet as it's not made it onto the car yet! LOL
