It says:

RS eng has a Multi layer steel gasket as standardWink

i kept getting the wrong HG from ECP so in the end i used Q-E-P

It isnt a kit no, Its up to you, Personally when a headgasket change costs so much in labour anyway, and pretty much all the other HG's out there dont fit 100% percent, if there was a Head gasket that coped with over 2 times the standard power all day long i'd get it every time Smile

Standard Pug gasket is around £40 and is the MLS. Yes

Fitting a non O.E. Head gasket is asking for trouble IMO...

Phone local Pug dealers, the head gasket is indeed £39, but they dont do a head gasket set, just a whole engine gasket kit for £99.

go to GSF ot pug, theyre about the same price, likely to be cheaper than elsewhere.

tbh the fibre gasket will do the job just fine even if it is not as specified.

so? most aftermarket ones do, just avoid the ultraparts ones as their rivets are on the timing belt end and foul the tensioners, but the victor reinz ones are fine as they are front and back of the block.
