Is a upper strut brace effective with a standard suspension setup on the front? just wondering as may get one if so. Smile

Have a search not sure thes days I regret nit getting it done before selling the car.

But it's regarded on most cars one of th best things you can do. Reduces under steer massively

30mm ARB is the way to go IMO, along with 21mm TB's. Yes

If i'm honest that means absolute bugger all to me i haven't a clue on it LOL

a strut brace is a very worthwile mod. keeps it a lot more solid and level through corners. as good a mod as a cheap/midrange set of sport shocks and springs

Some say that the E-Tech strut brace is only good for show but I felt a decent difference once I fitted mine and would recommend it. Yes

Daver6 - Which bars are you looking for? The ARB or TB's? I got my 30mm from Ash years ago, not sure if he still does them or not though. Unsure

Isnt 30mm going to cause the arse to come out with no regard for cooth and generally ruin your day?

I need to get some for the LCR but cannot decide the size.

Nope, I run a 30mm ARB, 21mm TB's, KW shocks, solid rear beam mounts and R888's. Yes

In my personal opinion, it's an awesome setup for fast road/track. Smile

I went straight to the setup above all at once. Yes

Lee_gti6 on here runs a hybrid and he seems very happy with it, he runs the same setup as the above with the only difference being the hybrid. Yes

The larger the bar, the more effect it will have so if you feel the car has too much body roll at the rear for you, then go bigger. Smile

The larger you go, the more the rear end behaves like it has dependent suspension, but then if you've improved the grip over standard you've enough spare at the rear to play with the balance a bit anyway.
