I think a good rule of thumb is never to post anything you wouldn't say if you were stood next to the guy in a pub. That is why I'd just like to point out that I think all of you are unusually bright, and talented........

He'll be back before long, I do hope so anyway. I too liked his threads - certainly entertaining and I have a lot of respect for a guy who's willing to stand up for himself, until it just turns into violent threats.

Until then though, I thought he was doing pretty well.

I do actually agree with this. Yes

He was upholding quite a good argument, alright it was never proven with facts/figures/evidence but it was at times a genuinely interesting debate...

Then it got nasty and the mark was over-stepped.

I think I spoke to him on the phone a while back, he did say that 2 RR's he had been on had shown the results and one of them being Aldon's, He was thinking of bringing it to me for a power reading to confirm this so it's a big step if it's not the quoted figure, Mind I might have the wrong man but there's not many GTi6's on Carb's out there

I think this ban will have a negative impact on the 306 world.

He may never reveal the secrets of his engine now he has been (temporarily) exiled

Also agree with smegal. I dealt with him a few times. He rises to other peoples bate as i have.

Thing is, this is often the case. Someone comes on with the wrong attitude, people wind them up, they get wound up so they get all angry and come across as a bad person, even if he's not. However, when people start getting aggressive, that's too far.

I p**s a lot of people off, no-one expects everyone to get along.

I have to agree there, forums etc can so easily get all skoowif when some people are reading it wrong then replying etc, every person that seems bad/weird etc when met in real life will always be different. Ive had a few problems in the past with forum mix ups/s**tstiring etc, but in real life with friends etc i never have Unsure

For some people when writing about something to explain things, can be seen differently when explaining the same thing in real life, i take it all with a pinch of salt now.

Although on this particular forum and a few other good ones, ive never had any problems with other members, must show how good it is and its members LOL

    This too Thumbs up
