The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

I really can't believe the difference!
Might have helped that I changed an ovaled hub at the same time, but feck me feels like I can do 60 round corners I wouldn't do 30 round before

Very very impressed!!

Went for a blast over the roaches yesterday
Went leek, longnor, Buxton, cat and fiddle then the back lanes home

Was a nice drive out, even with the rain and floods!

I think the ovalled hub makes the difference really, but I can tell everything is tighter

I've machined my own solids up, but with the dreadful roads around here, I'm quite scared it'll be too harsh

I really like them, makes the car point in exactly the direction I want it to go without any wallowing or hesitation. Plus, as long as you keep them greased they don't wear out like conventional bushes. Smile

Depends if you actually drive the car Stan! Razz

I've done more miles on my roller bearing bushes than the total mileage on your car!

I recently serviced them, replacing the bearings, grease nipples and the sleeve inserts (Rich can supply these on their own) and they should be okay for another 60-70k now. The parts came to about £65 I think, so not a bad servicing cost at all considering, and not a bad lifespan either as most people won't get near that sort of mileage on them.

Totally agree 100%, and to be honest if it were a daily driver I'm not sure I would favour the harsh settings on it either...Smile

Each Cat's Eye can feel like a bowling ball sometimes, but I like the sharpness of the turn-in too much to worry about it!

Not a bad cost at all really for the lifespan of the items to be honest. Yes

I wonder when mine will need servicing? Whistle
