Working my way through list of todo s on the car. Currently the car sits quite low at the back with the tyres slightly into the arches. its has no suspenion travel atall. its like its on the stops and its a dog to drive. I know there is a various popular setups on here but i may put the car back to standard first.
So i may as well do the whole rear.
What do i need:-
i know the following
1.beam mounts (4 is it?)
2. rear shocks
3. get beam recon
what else do i need?

im just gonna buy everythingbit a time while cash permits and then fit all in 1 go.
thanks
sam

sack off the disc protectors, don't need them Yes

hubs tend to last a very long time, only necessary if worn.

Euro car parts, peugeot, second hand. Have a read through some of the suspension threads, will give you an idea of how much things generally cost.

How deep are your pockets?!

For once I agree with WP, Oilite is a waste of time, as dare I say the it hybrid ARB is your rebuilding a beam as the arm shafts should be able to take at least a 29mm rear bar

The other thing having started to look into it is the damper rates between the 306 and Xsara, there's a huge differance

Would you recommend using Bilstein for xsaras then miles? If Im going to have xsara tbs?
Actually. xsara billies even exist?

Personally I would go the billy eibach route. Doesn't cost that much more if anything. Solid mounts are cheaper for a start.

Having said that my beam is going to be very expensive indeed.
So far it consists of
Baker BM mounts 120 quid.
New estate bars 200
Hybrid arb 170
Bilsteins not got them yet but should be 160 for the 2
Rebuild? Don't know but I'm allowing 300. Although I've supplied most of the stuff so idk
1060 then Shock
