Cant find this in search anywhere but is the adjuster on the drivers side of the upper brace meant for putting pre load on the bar to aid stability? If so inward tension or outward? Or is it simply for length adjustment?

Do you adjust by making it smaller or larger? Smile

Ah, see, my one lined up from the off but the studding was loose. Didnt know if there was a reason for the adjustment... Fail... LOL

I thought you were meant to nip them a 1/4 turn? Surely if there's no tension they don't really do anything

Yeah, just nip it up about a quarter turn to take the slack out of the whole lot, otherwise when the chassis flexes you'll get slack in the adjuster system as the forces oscillate.

Thougt that was probs he case. Unfortunately the nuts are all seized up on mine and I've tried plenty of heat and massive brute force and will just bend the bar... Got one of the 24mm nuts loose that's all. Hopefully I can put a wee bit of tension on with the slack in the top mount holes.
