Not a case of not being arsed. I won't be forced into paying anythingWink

Nobody has to pay - only to post which is fair.

I know my spelling is terrible, my Maths is worse. I have no spelling aids on my work computer. It makes me feel great when you mock me though, thanks. Thumbs up

I never got taught it and it's never been bought up in any stories, essays or anything through school, college, uni or even the special lessons I had after school.

Photobucket cull too maybe.

See, I hope Thug was joking, but this is a real sticking point for me...

The FAQs, Projects thread and other photos add heaps of helpful information here, they can become all useless the moment a photobucket account is deleted.

Something needs to be done to transfer linked photos onto the site's server/bandwidth or whatever, and it NEEDS to be a priority.

Sad to see some long timers leaving, but it's their choice.

I do think that some have had so much flack for not paying up (such as Stevieput and the like) that they'll never pay now just out of pride/stubbornness or summit like that (that's not a personal dig, just natural male pride - I'm sure i'd much rather have a Lotus Elise and save a fiver too)

But then, I don't come on here for the "bantaarr" - I have friends for that and can find funny Youtube videos myself. I'm here purely for car related topics and to pick up some mechanical knowledge. Some of the tripe that Billyboi99 comes out with makes me wince.

So that idea of people with 10k posts getting free membership can bugger off (I doubt it will ever seriously be considered). I'm not paying membership so that some sort of 'old boys' clique get a free ride - especially after they've gotten what they needed from the site way back when, and for free.

Its absolutely the individuals choice, and good for them - I am getting tired of the comments that the site will die without them though, like bitter rats leaving a sinking ship. It's not necessary - new folk sign up everyday and who knows what experience or mechanical knowledge they will have
