where's the risk in welding? its welded from the factory Unsure

saves £40 for something that could also be cracked Thumbs up

This is true, although if you welded it and then found out the repair wasn't good enough, you will need to remove the manifold again to either repair or replace.

As we know, removing the manifold can only be done one of three ways. Either remove the cylinder head, remove the engine or drop the subframe, none of which you really want to be doing. No

there's a 4th way, tilt the engine forwards.

You'll be surprised how many of these leak by the 4-1 part, I run around 40% of them at the moment and it can only get worse, Thankfully it's only small so far but the cracks will get bigger over time

I had the same when i transplanted the engine of my diabolo 6 to the black one. I remember seeing that there was a weird looking weld on the exhaust manifold but i didn't bother as i just wanted to get the car back on the road.

Still.... when i saw 880€ for a new exhaust manifold i almost got an heart attack.
