Wipers cancel anywhere in the screen as soon as you turn your wipers off, not completing the cycle and canceling at the bottom of the screen. (in the hdi by the way, not the rallye)

Tried swapping the motor, no joy. Anyone any ideas?

Hi guys I've got the exact problem and it's quite annoying!

So the general idea is the relays at fault? What one is it in the fuse box? Smile

I have, and now only one wiper setting works. Any way to correct this? (bar the obvious answer of plugging it back in, aha)

The front wiper relays are the two purple ones next to each other in the fusebox. Yes

If these don't solve the problem, it's either the rain sensor as Smegal says or the stalk itself. It won't be the motor. No

yeah same problem here,..

i just wondered if it had something to do with the blue relay in the rear wiper getting wet and screwing around with things,..
i'll try the two purple relays though Wink

I'd say that's the source of your problem. Not sure if there is a way to bypass it. I'd have a look at a wiring diagram and see if it reveals what the wires to the sensor do.

Mine does it when you are not using the auto wipers (when you push the stalk down for 1 wipe)

So I'm thinking replace both relays. Could anyone help me please and tell me the Peugeot part numbers? Smile

I have a spare purple relay so chopped and changed
When set for rain sensors it's stops all over the place but eventually returns back to start position an same when pressed down for single wipe,..
Rain sensor or stork then? How do you unplug the rain sensor?
Never had to mess with that before! Dunno

Edit:
Worked out how to remove the rain sensor
Still behaving the same! Dry

Had his a few times and it's been the motor at fault as that's where he park switch is located I think iirc?

However tonight I took mine out to run a boost gauge pipe through he bulkhead and since putting the wiper moor and linkage back on its messing about. On rain sensor it either stays on at slow wipe speed or does one wipe every 30 seconds but stops in the wrong place. One flick down and it just stops soon as you let go of the stalk.
Think I should check the plug I immagine. Only thing I've done is unplug the thing and plug it back in :/.

Bit of a revival my wipers just stop where has soon has you let go of the stalk? Would my car have a rain sensor it’s a R reg ph2 ? Only reason I ask is it was a stripped out track car and I’ve put the interior back in. Also should it have alarm sensors in the A pillars, my trim does but couldn’t find any plugs on the car ?
Thanks Chris

I just changed my wiper motor and it cured it,..
Any 306 wipers should work,..
But if your looking for an exact diagnosis then could be just the brushes the the wiper motor it's self

Often if the wiper stutters or stops at some point where it's not meant to, it's the circular PCB in the unit of the wiper motor, not the motor itself. If you take it apart, you will see it right away. It looks like a big potentiometer with circular circuit tracks and a slider. These need to be cleaned with some (isopropyl) alcohol and the slider, if neccessary, slightly sanded. Bend the slider just a little bit to apply more force to the track and regrease it. I repaired mine that way.

When reassembling take care of the arrows on the housing to line everything up. Thumbs up
