"My two pennies" Stick a new engine in, sure if you put a proper SOS out someone near you could give ya a hand. If not a mate who can hold a spanner would be a help and if you don't have a mate that can hold a spanner, one that can make tea and hold bits for ya. Just take your time and you will suprise yourself! Put it this way, how do you know you can't take out the engine without trying? Like has been said even if you come to break it you gotta take the engine out anyway Thumbs up

Luckily I browse this site mostly on the iPhone so when I get caught out I can't see anything as it doesn't have flash.

More of a shame actually come to think of it.

The saviour is currently being setup. Jesus is bringing down an engine hoist for me to borrow so I might speak to you about that engine you have. Would get you to do it but Mr Barclays (aka the Mrs) isnt allowing me access to the monies I deserve lol. So looks like its going to be a self service jobby (wow that sounds wrong!!!!)

You dont need to touch these, it can make life a bit easier with them totally removed but it's not something you have to do.

As much as it sounds like a major job as said by others if you approach it methodically and take your time it really isnt that bad. If you buy a replacement engine that is complete you can recoup some of the outlay by selling all the ancillaries and manifolds that you have spare aswell.

    Good luck
