my 205 used to do this quite a bit, well not bang so much.

Fitted a lambda to my engine management system which controls the fuelling much better than the mixture potentiometer that I'd not got setup properly, not much at all now.

It's not about thrashing it... No no no. Get the car hot then the exhaust. 2nd or 3rd and give a fairly aggressive toe up to around 5.5k then back off and let it drop to around 4 - 3.5 k and feather throttle really really lightly. And pops away!!

Mine pops a bit but not much though I only fitted it a while ago though. Have sussed the rev thing out but can you get flames from a standard engine car or is that charged ones?

You can get flames out of a standard engined car although it is more difficult. Yes

However, you will get more pops and bangs out of a well sooted up exhaust, so you need to give it some time to bed in. Smile

I get a mixture of it all.

Pops and bangs on the overrun, and rasp from the decat on acceleration. Devil

Same set up as mine bar i have the magnex decat and a f**ked standard middle section so going to take the middle box out and see what happens. Mine pops and fires flames now and then but not very often
