I've seen the thread for best car to buy for £10k but i want to know what you'd recommend for anything between £15k and £20k. Basically i think my brother Will be stupid to wipe that kind of money on a car when you don't have a house yet. But he is in the army and when he next goes away then come's home he's talking about getting a bmw m5 for around £17k. I can see him wasting the money and getting bored of it in 2 to 3 years. Any car suggestions that is value for money fun to drive etc other than 306 which i Will be running through his head all the time Smile

All depends on what he's gonna want from it, if ts doing limited mileage like it sounds then he can get something a bit daft - Like this or even one of these

To be honest though Jamma, being a squaddie he will buy it, keep if for a short while then flog it on for next to nothing when his wages run out after the second week of the month Whistle

When I was based in Colly, Cash Converters made most of it's trade from the troops.

so, an m5 would get boring, but you were looking at range rovers Blink they're common as muck and slow as anything in the scheme of things

rs4, e90 m3, 911 996, evo.. anything but a range rover LOL

As Rikky said, not a Range Rover Sport. It will never be a sports car, however hard it tries.

No stupid turbo Jap crap either imo.

Looks like a normal audi to most but its got a V10 from a lambo and is quicker than a r8.

LOL LOL LOL clearly not. how long have you had a 2.0 16v 167 bhp 306 for?? and you not bored of that so don't think you would be getting bored of a 500bhp 5.0 v10 m5 (presuming ur on about the E60 m5).

I wouldnt anyway it would be 1000 times more fun to drive than a 306, steer from the rear for a start Thumbs up
