In all my other Pug track car engines I've used millers CFS 10w/40. I can lap the 'ring several flying laps and not see temps over 100degrees (thats using a cooler as well though to be fair). It doesn't break down so easy as 'normal' oils as its a fully syn. Protects upto 120degrees. Should work well in the '6 engine as its a newer design. May help?

Not bein funny but is it ur first trackday?? If so don't worry, stick some decent oil in the car and watch the oil temp, 5/ 6 laps at a time first time out is by far enough, and if it's not ur first just keep an eye on the oil temp and you'll be fine! Thumbs up

Those of you not using an oil cooler must just drive like fannys, ran millers cfs 10-50 with a 16 row cooler in the front grill and still reached 120c. This was with fresh coolant and nissens radiator!
