Do you really think he's going to take £20 less than someone offered yesterday?

Yes I've sold lots of parts to members on here.

To be honest you just completely and utterly blagged me when you registered interest. I can't remember exactly what you were asking but I thought for £130 it's not worth the hassle lol.... sorry, I thought I'd messaged you back.

Really???

It was purchased as a thermo plate. Appears I've been ripped off then!

Can anyone else confirm whether it's a thermostatic one or not?

Thermo plates have a cylindrical casting containing the thermostat with a removable threaded cap. The housing runs at 90 degrees to the oil flow usually and is a plunger type valve. Zoomed in on yours and it doesn't look like any thermo plate I've ever seen. Looks like you got sold a standard one, it's a common mistake as most people don't know the difference.

I'd say it's still worth the saking price at that money though James.

Between a thermostat one and not? A thermostat one will open at 88 degrees I think, so oil cooler only starts cooling at that level rather than cooling all the time. (if that makes sense)

I am worried about mine now, as I bought a thermo one, and mine looks like the one pictured Sad
