I can't believe there isn't a tonne of interest in this!

Would be amazing to watch a btcc car race again, any idea of the race dates? Presuming everything else goes alright.

Will be following this closely.

This is a cool car, and best of all Roger is a friend of mine. He told me long time ago about his time in Btcc and his 306. This was one of my reason for buy my first 306. Roger are still in the racing buisness. After his retire from Btcc he was one of the guys who started Peugeot 206 CUP in norway. After beeing a part of this ha started his own team of 206 and Low cost cars/drivers. When they closed downthe 206cup He bought most of the cars and started event management with the cars. During summer at Våler Banen (1 of the 3 tracks we have in Norway) and during winter up in the mountain he was running the cars on frozen lakes. Now he is a part of Mads Ostberg Rally Team as PR/marketing manager.

Sorry about this OT. in your tread, It was fun to see my friends car still in use Smile Hope it was ok to write little about the first who was racing this car.

Excellent, I have been trying to track down where Roger had gone and what he was doing so its good to hear hes still racing and still with Peugeots.

Any tips and info he could give me on the car would be great! And if he has any pictures or anything like that of the car that would be even better! I do have a poster from back when the car raced and I went to watch it, and the poster is signed by both Roger and Simon, this car is more than just a race car to me its a bit of history! I loved going to watch it race so then to own it is even better.

If you could put me in contact with Roger, if he or you dont mind that would be great, either on here of facebook or something, but dont worry I wont turn into a storker and hassle him it would just be nice to be able to have a chat Thumbs up

Hi, great looking website you have, and gorgeous cars. Can I ask, do you know the best place to source the speedline btcc wheels from?

Speedline still make them but they are over £400 each, unless you can find any second hand ones then thats it, but if any come up for sale then Im going to be on it as I could do with some more sets.

There is some Speedline do which are almost the same but are alloy and not magnesium so are quite a bit cheaper.

The trackday/test day all went well, driver and car both managed a 40min session without either over heating, brakes and tyres did fade towards the end but did do 40mins non stop whereas in the race I would have a pitstop so this would let both cool very slightly for a bit.

It was also quicker than the 205 Pugonda and the Anglia that the boys in the garage next door brought along so I was well happy with that!

All the pics are here so enjoySmile

Thrursday was the officiall CSCC test day at Snetterton, and once again the car and driver did ok. Fastest lap was 2mins 22secs which I thought was pretty ok as car is still only running with a totally standard engine!

Better brakes are really needed and maybe a slighly bigger oil cooler but apart from that we are ready to go, scrutineering went ok with only a few minor things to tweak.

here are a few more pics for you and hope to see a few of you all on the 15th April for the first race at Snetterton;
