Has anybody got any ideas?

I wired up my aem boost gauge correctly, it all works and what not. Monday I took out the gauges again to finish off the A pillar, and left them unplugged. Went to use my car yesterday and it wouldn't start. The battery is only a year old. Before I tried to start the car I plugged the gauges back in and taped them to the a pillar just to get me to football.

Luckily I can drive any car third party and made it to football on time, otherwise I may of done a Lee and put the windows in!!!

The boost gauge needs a constant power supply I think aswell as a switched live, but does anybody know why it needs a constant live? And if this was unplugged for a few could that of been what drained the battery?

Thanks for your time...

The constant live is the yellow cable from the headunit.

Yeah I did think it sounds silly, but I'm stumped so thought I would throw it out there. Can't seeing it just being the battery though as its really not that old. Would really get annoying if I have to change the battery every fudging year.

somethings gotta be draining it or not charging properly.

get it fired up and check the voltage across the battery.

Did u disconnect the battery when playing with the electrics? maybe the battery terminal is still loose. Or as its a peugeot u've fixed one problem so its made itself another.

Nope didn't diconnect the battery when fiddling.

The problem was the battery, got the AA out and they tested it, the usage when off and the alternator. Strange as the battery was new in January, I got a new one through warrenty so hopefully thats the last of it.
