Well I have been on the road 5 years Today!

In that time I have taken out 7 insurance policies on 5 different cars and all I have to show for it now is 1 years NCB Laugh

1st Car: '94(M) 106 Inca Diesel 3dr.
2nd: '89(G) MG Metro Turbo in Flame Red Cool (bought for £300 when I was 16 with 68k on the clock)
3rd: '97® Honda Civic LS 1.6i Coupe. I was going to replace with an EK9 but I ended up going for the car I had wanted from the age of 14........
4th: '98(S) GTi6 P2.5 Love
Which brings me to my current car which I would never had bought if it was not for the blasted Badger! Angry
5th: '00(X) Focus 1.8 Zetec. Sad To be fair even though it is a Ford it is fairly enjoyable to drive but Im sure you can guess which of the above was my favourite Wink

I went on the old fella's insurance for the 205 when I passed, £1500 odd quid 3rd party only.

When you're young it doesn't matter that much I guess. I would've paid anything just to drive the thing!

I had my Metro Turbo for two years before I passed. It was a non runner when I bought it as the syncromesh had gone in the G/box but when I got it back with the recon G/box fitted and T+T all I wanted to do was drive it!! Hyper In hindsight I really should have shopped around before insuring it Wink

Thanks Jamma. I did think Astor was my Favourite colour but seeing some of the pics of yours and mine has swayed my opinion back Wink Yea I do need another. Pugfest would be good even without one but with one would be EPIC! Thumbs up
I loved my smooth front end the bumper was my favourite part I think.

did rate it, just the gti6 is super throwable. everytime it snowed the m3 left me stranded LOL going 4wd nutter soon in the form of a 911 996 turb, lets see how the 6 compares to that! to be fair the m3 was a good example and almost brand new inside and out, shouldn't have sold it really

Thought this was going to be a thread about 5 years of ownership. Similar to the one I didn't start a week ago about the BLF as quite frankly it's not massively interesting.

The alternative thread is the fact that 5 years is a seventh of my life now.
