This keeps happening to me to. I just use the "forum jump" option in the corner to get out. It still posts and I can go straight back to the thread and view with no issues.

Similar, but more crisp and tidy. Good work on keeping a known design but continuing to make improvements.

if i make you a better one, will you change it?

Without Ash and some members, this site wouldn't be here and you wouldn't have saved a fortune on fixing your car.......Ash may be open to suggestions though if it's not a big thing.

All paid up, great to see the website loading so quickly now – good work! Thumbs up (Although I'm lost without the search button and recent posts link)

Just noticed that some of my old posts on my project thread are cut short – any ideas if these can be recovered or are they gone forever Sad (http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=117011)

Billy, there was an appeal many months ago for anyone who had a good banner design.

The club's always willing to accept good input, so if you want to put something together it'll be considered. The dimensions are pretty obvious, it just needs to be lightweight and scalable (if you look at the current one, you'll see it's a background texture with individual images).

Dont know if this has been mentioned, but how about putting a redirect page where the old forum used to be located so that people who have bookmarked the page can find the new forum?

FAO captainash,

was going to Pm you, but seems I dont have that option with my account, cant be arsed going upstairs to get my wallet to join up right now (will do later as this is a damn useful site).

Anyway, made a small alteration to the logos on the top of the page. Below are links to two replacement PNG files, I have added a layer stroke with a slight outer glow. It will help the dark logos stand out from the dark background.

Obviously you don't have to use them, but give them a try and I think you will like it better. Trust me, its what I do for a living.

Also would maybe change the '+' to an '&' will look a bit neater, also maybe use a better font for 'Owners Club'.

Each forum now has its own “time to live”. If no-one posts in a thread for the specified amount of time then the thread is considered dead and will be deleted. This TTL varies between 1 year (for the Misc forums) to 5 years for the FAQ. This will help keep the forum content trimmer and more useful.

Not the best idea I have heard, sometimes its useful to be able to refer back to old posts, plus it will help with search results. Also means more reposts.

Ash is having to manually transfer memberships once paid due to a slight issue with WorldPay. Shouldn't be long so please bear with us.
