So i bought the rallye about 2 ½ years ago and the intent wasn't to do anything to her apart from what was needed and just keep it as an everyday dive. Ive got a Indigo 106 GTi which im turning into a track slag/piggy bank (but thats another story.)

So when i bought it it looked like this

Being a relatively new car to me and forgeting that the induction pipe came from the rallye blank hole and some unlucky circumstances ie the fillter falling off. i then drove through a very deep puddle.

Not good

So off it went to carls and i got the hight sorted aswell because it was far to low for me.

Anyway so after a close incounter with an underground carpark piller the rear ¼ didn't look to smart. Never took a pic because it made me p*ssed. Sooo i finaly got it sorted.

And the finished product!

After geting it back i could finally put my Nimrods on. They had only been sitting in the garage for about a year by now.

At the same time i put the new Rallye stickers on and sprayed the ?petro cap insert? cherry red.

You sir either live for the 6 or have a mental retardation to still be repairing this!

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

So now im all payed up! I shall continue. Didn't get chance to put the badge up again think this is a love/hate thing but i like it so...

got a couple of air inlets from Demon Thieves rubbed them down and sprayed them cherry red aswell

Striped the morretts down, rubbed them back to the plastic. Then sprayed them up.

Then put the two together and....

Next thing on the list is to sort out the rear left caliper which has seized shut

Loving the morettes and air intakes, not a fan of the filler strips, think they would look better black.
